Welcome to Explorers, a warm and nurturing childcare setting based in Monmouth. I’m Lou, founder of Loulou’s Explorers, a registered childminder and qualified teacher.

At Explorers, we are delighted to provide personal, professional care for children aged 0–5 years in our dedicated, beautiful playroom within my home.

I work alongside assistants who share my passion for offering high-quality, creative opportunities that encourage children to play, explore and learn. We firmly believe that, through play, children develop confidence, curiosity and essential skills.

At the heart of our setting is a caring, stimulating atmosphere where children can have fun, be themselves and feel valued as individuals.

Above all, we want the children in our care to feel happy, safe and secure. Happy children play, explore, engage, challenge themselves, think critically, investigate and thrive.

We offer:

♥ Flying Start funded places: As a registered Flying Start provider, we work closely with families to support each child’s individual development.

♥  Childcare Offer funded places: Use your 20 funded hours with us. As teachers and experienced childcare providers, we ensure children experience a well-rounded curriculum tailored to their individual needs. Children are supported by competent adults, carefully chosen resources and thoughtful planning.

♥  Tax-Free Childcare payments: We are able to accept payment through your Government Tax-Free Childcare account

♥ Sessions: Sessions run through most weeks of the school year, Monday to Friday, from 8:00am until 5:30pm.
